On October 5th, 2002 - There was a Fabulous Fundraising Dinner Party

The dinner party fundraiser took place aboard a luxurious yacht in an effort to create a dance lesson scholarship fund for the youth of Oregon. The Event was a Smashing SUCCESS!

In an effort to provide new dance opportunities for the youth in Oregon, the Oregon chapters of the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association are working to create a scholarship fund that will enable kids to take ballroom dance classes from local instructors in their area. As part of this effort, a novel dance workshop on the Galaxy Commodore Luxury Yacht will be held on October 19th in Newport, Oregon. Instructors from the Medford, Eugene, and Portland areas will be teaching these fantastic classes for anyone who would like to learn Swing and Salsa. Classes are designed for beginning level students. ALL ages welcome!
